Every reinvention tells a story — and Sandra Baas has mastered the art of telling hers. The Dutch-born entrepreneur and strategist has lived across Spain, Italy, and the Mediterranean, building a life and career defined by curiosity, courage, and cross-cultural connection.
“I’ve reinvented myself across continents and careers,” Baas says. “But I’ve never started from scratch — I’ve built from experience.”
Where Purpose Met PR: The Baasgalgo Chapter
Baas’s first major leap came when she founded Baasgalgo, a nonprofit movement dedicated to rescuing and rehoming galgos, Spain’s elegant yet often mistreated hunting dogs. She led every aspect — from strategy to PR — working with European and international celebrities to spark awareness and compassion.
“That’s where I saw the power of storytelling,” Baas recalls. “We weren’t just rescuing dogs — we were changing perceptions. That’s when I realized emotion and strategy are the most powerful tools in business.”
A Global Perspective on Branding
Years later, Baas transitioned into luxury retail in the U.S., helping top-tier brands craft experiences that inspire loyalty. But eventually, the disconnect between her work and her heart became impossible to ignore.
“I had built brands that looked beautiful but didn’t always feel authentic,” she says. “Leaving corporate life was the bravest thing I’ve done — and the best.”
Now, through Baas Studio, her boutique consultancy, Baas partners with both companies and individuals to rebrand with authenticity, empathy, and emotional intelligence. “I help people and brands reconnect with who they really are,” she explains. “Strategy is important — but story is what moves people.”
The Human Side of Leadership
Baas’s approach is rooted in humanity — an understanding that leaders and brands alike thrive when they operate from alignment. “Authenticity isn’t a buzzword,” she says. “It’s an act of leadership.”
Looking Ahead
Today, she’s building Baas Studio into a global consultancy serving founders, creatives, and changemakers who want to tell stories that resonate across cultures. She’s also setting her sights on speaking and mentoring — helping others see that reinvention is not a restart, but an evolution.
“My mission,” Baas says, “is to remind people that it’s never too late to come home to yourself.”
