Today we’d like to introduce you to Rakan Khalifa.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
-I was born in Saudi Arabia to Palestinian Parents
-For the majority of my childhood, my family had money – chauffeurs, maids, chefs etc. My father ran successful businesses and my mother never had to work
-I moved to Canada for University and eventually my father’s businesses began to suffer and I had to start working.
-I worked multiple jobs simultaneously while in school – i.e. shisha bar server, nightclub bus boy, gym sales associate.
-My trigger moment – I witnessed my mother working as a school crossing guard in the winter – her first and only job she ever had
-When I confronted her she had said “Rakan you left your bank account open and I saw… you cannot support this family”
-At that moment I knew I had to do something big
-I was introduced to the worlds of network marketing and the financial markets
-I went all in and after sacrifices, hardships, controversy, ups and downs… I founded one of the biggest movements in the trading and networking space called GameChangers Worldwide and I made my first million in 4 years at 25 years old
-At that point I began to diversify – I also started a marketing and editing company, and am co-owner of one of the largest middle eastern restaurants in the Toronto area
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
-As an Arab immigrant with an accent and language barrier, the sales and marketing space was not so friendly, warm market and cold market, especially at the beginning
-I had to overcome objections, company decisions, business partners coming and going, unsupportive friends, losing friends, sacrificing young adult “party years” to attend events and sales meetings to build the business
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
My main project in the trading and networking space is above the competition because our platform is forward thinking and constantly innovating to provide a solution to the largest problem that people around the world have – money.
In particular, we are leveraging AI technology to optimize profits in financial market trading accessible to the average retail customer.
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
-Find someone that has and is doing what you want and shadow them, add value to them, and find a way to join them or duplicate them
-Mentors and Coaches are a time machine
-An investment in yourself pays the best interest
-Personal development is key
