Today we’d like to introduce you to Sirdaiurs Rashod Benton.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
So great to meet with you as well today. I don’t want to waste no time, so let’s get into it. Many of you know me from my viral videos of me dancing in uniform as a police officer and then later as a Deputy Sheriff, but few know me asa motivational speaker until recently.
Over the last several years I have been going through life’s journey. I have made so many mistakes in these past few years that it has made me realize a lot. With that being said, I am taking what I learned and turning them into positive energy and lessons. I want to help men deal with their past traumas, the things we don’t discuss as men to better us for our future and most importantly cheating!
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
The challenges I have faced is literally life decisions and life lessons. Losing my family because of my own selfishness, making moves without taking the time to outweigh the pros and cons, and trying to conquer my past traumas have been a challenging journey.
Dealing with past traumas had to be the worse challenge to encounter. I felt stuck because I was so use to doing certain things that I never understood that I had an real issue. It had to take for me to lose things, major things, to wake me up to realize that what I was doing and who I was doing it with was a serious problem.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
I am starting my career as a motivational speaker along with being an actor and digital creator. I’m beginning to make more content encouraging and inspiring others to be who they are, to accept who they are and to forgive themselves of any mistakes, mishaps or decision that might have costed them a lot.
I’m unique in my own way. I am open and ready to have conversations about where I went wrong and what I am doing to fix it. Not to many people are willing to be open and honest about their lives in order to help others. I’m willing to go the distance to help any and everyone I can.
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
If you truly desire to be successful, just be true to yourself. Don’t compromise your values and morals to become successful. You don’t have to be rich and famous to be successful. Trust the process on any and everything you do. Don’t be in a rush to get to where you are going because the journey is the most important thing. Strive to be your best self and just be happy in it. Find your peace and believe that you can achieve whatever it is you want to acheive.
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
Success is simply whatever it is that you make it out to be. Doesn’t have to big the biggest thing, it can be the smallest thing to most but the biggest to you. As long as you are proud of what you accomplished, you are success in my eyes!
What’s next for you?
Next for me is creating good content to help people. To create content to inspire, empower and uplift everyone. I plan on doing a lot of speaking engagements but want to create a bigger online presence. Social media is a means to all means as far as reaching multiple people at once.
