When Kheriya Mohammed launched Zenith Wellness in 2025, it marked more than the opening of a new wellness business—it symbolized years of perseverance, education, faith, and a deep commitment to service.
Originally from Ethiopia,Kheriya immigrated to the United States in 2007 determined to build a purposeful life. Armed with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and early experience co-owning a construction company, she already understood leadership and operations. But healthcare was her calling. After returning to school to pursue nursing, she went on to dedicate more than a decade to clinical practice, all while raising two children and continuing her education. Today, she is completing her Nurse Practitioner degree and leading Zenith Wellness with a vision centered on holistic, patient-focused care.
Zenith Wellness: Where Healthcare Meets Purpose-Driven Leadership
At its core, Zenith Wellness represents the intersection of clinical excellence and entrepreneurial vision.Kheriya’s journey from construction business owner to nurse and emerging nurse leader uniquely positions her to understand both operational strategy and compassionate care.
Her business is designed to serve everyone, with a particular focus on professional women who often prioritize family and career over their own well-being. Through personalized wellness services and patient-centered care, Zenith Wellness aims to help clients restore energy, reduce stress, and achieve balance.
Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all model, Kheriya emphasizes individualized, holistic strategies that support long-term vitality. Her philosophy is rooted in service, integrity, and continuous growth—principles shaped by her upbringing and her mother’s example as a resilient single parent and small business owner.
Overcoming Adversity and Building a Legacy
Adjusting to life in a new country while raising children, working full-time, and pursuing advanced education would challenge anyone. For Kheriya, those obstacles became stepping stones. She credits her faith in God and the unwavering support of her husband for helping her persevere during moments of exhaustion and uncertainty.
Launching Zenith Wellness was not just a professional milestone; it was the realization of a vision years in the making. It reflects an evolution—from early entrepreneurship in construction to healthcare leadership grounded in empathy and excellence.
Kheriya also views her journey as a blueprint for other immigrant women striving to build meaningful careers. “We define ourselves,” she often emphasizes. “If we believe in our vision and stay dedicated, we can achieve what we once thought was impossible.”
A Vision for the Future of Zenith Wellness
Looking ahead, Kheriya plans to expand Zenith Wellness by integrating advanced, personalized wellness services that empower clients to achieve peak health. Completing her Nurse Practitioner degree is a critical step toward that goal, enabling her to provide expanded clinical care while maintaining her commitment to holistic treatment.
Her leadership style—collaborative, service-driven, and rooted in accountability—has evolved through both business ownership and healthcare practice. She now sees leadership not simply as task management, but as the responsibility to mentor, uplift, and create opportunities for others.
Through networking events, mentorship, and active participation in professional communities, Kheriya continues to engage with the broader entrepreneurial ecosystem. She remains particularly passionate about supporting immigrant women and working parents who are striving to balance ambition with responsibility.
For Kheriya, Zenith Wellness is more than a company. It is a platform for impact—one that combines healthcare innovation with personal empowerment.
