Camay’s entrepreneurial journey defies convention. Where many chase trends, she built Camay Capital Group by doing the opposite—slowing down, focusing deeply, and anchoring her work in purpose. Drawing on more than two decades in law enforcement and military service, she has translated those lessons into building businesses and preparing leaders to rise under pressure.
A Childhood of Constant Change
Raised across the South and shuffled through 18 schools, Camay learned to adapt quickly and dream big. That resilience shaped her path through the Army, law enforcement, and motherhood—all while quietly nurturing an entrepreneurial spark.
“I grew tired of just surviving,” Camay says. “I wanted to build something that would outlive me—and help others lead with confidence.”
Turning Chaos Into Strategy
In her early days, Camay equated success with doing everything at once. The result: exhaustion and stagnation. Her breakthrough came when she stopped chasing shiny objects and instead built one solid foundation before branching into other ventures.
She also embraced the power of mentorship, trading ego for growth.
“Once I stopped being the smartest person in the room, everything shifted.”
These same principles—structure, discipline, and accountability—are now at the core of her coaching framework for law enforcement leaders who want to rise without burning out.
Purpose Before Profit
Camay’s defining shift was reframing her work as a calling, not a chore. That mindset powered her expansion into real estate and mortgage services, book publishing, and the launch of her entrepreneurial podcast Profiticale.
But more than income streams, Camay’s law enforcement career instilled a passion for building legacy pipelines: equipping current and future leaders to lead with clarity, resilience, and vision.
The Discipline Behind the Dream
While she jokes about exercising “once every three months,” Camay fiercely protects her time. She schedules family moments like business meetings and uses travel as her reset button. Balance, she insists, is a daily negotiation—but one she’s unwilling to compromise on.
That discipline, sharpened over years of shift work and command responsibilities, now fuels her approach to coaching leaders to create systems that protect both their mission and their well-being.
The Future: Bigger Stages, Broader Impact
With eyes on international expansion, Camay plans to retire from law enforcement and step fully into speaking, coaching, and hosting global conferences.
Her ultimate mission: train the next generation of law enforcement and public safety leaders to navigate high-stakes environments while building sustainable careers and communities.
“I love people, I love teaching—and yes, I love the spotlight a bit too,” Camay laughs. “But more than anything, I love watching leaders step into their full potential.”
