Exclusive Interview with Jonathan Brierre

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jonathan Brierre.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

I got here through self-awareness, alignment, and by the grace of god. I grew up as a pretty depressed kid. I was an ironically self-centered people pleaser that lacked personal boundaries and had crippling social anxiety. I struggled with making friends and connecting with people, and it wasn’t until college when this really started taking a toll on me. When I realized how deep my problem was, I decided to start taking personal responsibility for myself, start understanding myself better, and begin reconditioning myself for success.

I decided to become a salesman in order to proactively learn more about communication and the way we transmute energy in conversations. While doing so, I’ve also picked up a very many books on communication, personal empowerment, the nature of consciousness, and principles to live life by. Over the course of my sales career, I’ve helped generate millions of dollars of cash flow.

As I forsaw the 2020 market crash, I preemptively decided to drop direct sales and focus on coaching, consulting, and software projects. I self published my book, A Short Handbook For Happiness in late 2019. In me handing it out to people individually, I can see that it’s positively impacted the lives of thousands.

Over the course of the pandemic, my income has grown exponentially, my relationships are much healthier, and my understanding of life and my ego has come full circle. I have a TEDX talk coming soon, and I look forward to continue sharing my message with the world.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

My biggest challenge was transcending my ego and adopting new beliefs that served me. This was especially an issue when first becoming a salesman. I had so many beliefs and conditionings about myself that were not conducive to me being successful. Regardless of whether or not I was selling cars, homes, makeup, or knives, going to work was an intentional trial by fire for me to

1: discover my self-imposed limitations
2: understand them
3: let them go

(This is my 3 step letting go process)

I remember I worked in a call center once, and I was tasked to do phone sales. I initially hated the job as I subconsciously felt I was pestering people, and my sales were crap as a result. My manager one day told me that I sounded very boring on the phone, and that prompted me to analyze my mental state when doing the calls. This was step one in my process. I saw that I believed I was pestering people, and that I was like a phone scammer (I wasn’t – these were warm leads).

I then looked to understand the root of my beliefs: Perhaps I had bad experiences with phone salespeople in the past, and that influenced my affect when I presented myself as a phone salesman.

After I understood this about myself, I decided to let go of the old beliefs by introducing new ones in my subconscious. By doing this, I ended up 3Xing my sales that month.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

I specialize in business sales + marketing + branding, communication, relationships, and the nature of consciousness generally. I coach and consult people on how to train and reshape their mindsets for success. Regardless of whether or not someone wants to start a business, begin day trading, start dating, climb the corporate ladder, or improve their relationships and communication – the systems and principles I’ve acquired over the years of research and self application have proven to be timeless and universally applicable to anyone looking to improve themselves.

My book – A Short Handbook For Happiness, is a culmination of these findings for people to take with them wherever they go. You can read it in an hour, but it’ll change your life forever.

Apart from my 3 step process I spoke about here, I also have a 5 times a day method that uses neurolinguistic programming to invoke a higher state of consciousness in a user 5 times a day. The meditation I recorded for this is done to help give people the awareness they need to identify their limiting beliefs and thought patterns. With awareness then comes the opportunity to transcend.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

Success is firstly a state of mind that we need to learn how to tap into. Before I became a salesman, I had the most unsuccessful mindset that literally repelled any opportunity for love or money to come into my life. Once you start cultivating your mindset to find success in whatever aspects in your life, you’ll be inevitably be exposed to more things that will challenge you and push your understandings further. To find success externally is to first be willing to do the inside work.

When we look at the hermetic principle of correspondence, we see that our external worlds are direct reflections of our internal worlds. (As above, so below. As within, so without). This lines up with Freudian psychology as our subconscious thoughts and unconscious beliefs are the lens through which we consciously see the world. If we are filled with trauma, limiting beliefs, and ego conditionings, then our life will have no choice to reflect that until we begin picking these things apart and letting them go.

Many of us have faulty conditionings in our subconscious and unconscious minds. To find success would imply being able to intentionally rewire your thoughts to then first start seeing the world differently, then to start acting differently, then to start attracting differently.

If one does this consistently, then by nature of The Compound Effect (an excellent read by Darren Hardy), your external success begins to show up in your life exponentially.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

Success means to be aligned. Success means not needing to hustle and doing hard work. Success means to simply be, and allowing things to happen from a place of inspired action.

To me, working hard and hustling implies that we are going up against resistance. To work hard implies that things are not flowing, and that I need to force things to happen. This is also me working from a place of ego and I am doing things to achieve ego based things

To be successful means to live beyond the ego. The actions I take are done for the betterment of not only myself, but those around me. Success is finding a state of flow and inspiration in the work you do, and being compensated enough for it to live a rich and fulfilling life. Success is bringing so much value to the table in your interactions, that you no longer have to hustle and chase the bag – the bag now chases you

What’s next for you?

At this time, I am preparing to give a TEDX Talk on hacking the mind for success. After this, I will be doing public speaking events across the country and looking to grow my presence more on podcasts and social media. I have so much knowledge and wisdom to share. I’ve impacted the lives of so many people so far, and I can’t wait to continue doing so.
