Eruditio iBL Plus Addresses Manufacturing Skills Gaps With Blended Learning

The Talent Challenge Inside Modern Facilities

Manufacturing leaders are under intense pressure to do more with fewer resources while navigating workforce turnoEruditio Launches iBL Plus to Drive Manufacturing Performance and ROI

A Next Generation Learning Model

Manufacturing leaders are increasingly skeptical of solutions that promise improvement without proof. Eruditio is responding with iBL Plus, a project based blended learning curriculum that connects education directly to operational performance.

Led by founder Shon Isenhour, Eruditio designed iBL Plus as an upgrade to the proven iBL curricula already used by global manufacturers including Mercedes, Gallo Wines, Lockheed Martin, Weyerhaeuser and Amazon. The new program expands on that foundation to meet today’s manufacturing challenges.

Proven Curriculum With Financial Impact

Developed in collaboration with the University of Tennessee, iBL Plus combines structured learning with real world application. Participants earn a certification while delivering measurable improvements inside their facilities.

The financial impact is significant. On average, students realize more than a ten times return on investment in the first year of implementing their blended learning project. For organizations, the program costs less than two weeks of traditional consulting while delivering longer lasting results.

Facilities using the curriculum report improvements in production, cost control and safety performance, areas where incremental gains can have an outsized impact on profitability.

Designed for Cross Functional Leaders

iBL Plus serves reliability engineers, maintenance and production managers, supervisors, planners, schedulers and storeroom leaders. By engaging cross functional teams, the program helps organizations address systemic issues rather than isolated problems.

The blended structure ensures learning is reinforced through action, coaching and peer collaboration, making improvements more likely to stick.

Empowering Sustainable Improvement

As the manufacturing workforce evolves, organizations need leaders who can drive change internally. iBL Plus focuses on developing that capability.

“iBL Plus empowers manufacturing and facilities leaders to improve organizational reliability with their own staff,” says Isenhour. “That makes the improvements more sustainable and strengthens team morale.”

Program Launch

Eruditio’s first iBL Plus cohort begins next month, with kickoffs occurring bi monthly.
