Through her company, Boujee Boss Lady LLC, LaRue is redefining what modern financial education looks like — blending strategic planning expertise with mindset, organization, and lifestyle design.
A New Approach to Financial Confidence
For years, LaRue advised clients through some of life’s most complex transitions — widowhood, sudden wealth events, business exits, and generational estate planning. While many of her clients were highly successful women, she noticed a recurring theme: even accomplished leaders often felt overwhelmed or isolated when it came to organizing and leading their personal finances.
At the same time, financial advice across social media began exploding in popularity. However, much of the content was being delivered by influencers without real planning experience.
LaRue saw an opportunity to bridge the gap.
“Successful women don’t need more pressure to perform,” she explains. “They need a safe, sophisticated space to finally understand their wealth, organize their lives, and celebrate the success they’ve worked so hard to build.”
Her platform focuses on helping women transform financial avoidance into confident decision-making through education, systems, and community.
The Personal Experience That Sparked the Movement
The idea for Boujee Boss Lady began taking shape in 2022 during an intense season in LaRue’s life. While running multiple businesses, raising two children, caring for aging parents, and guiding clients through major financial transitions, she realized her own financial organization and personal goals were slipping to the background.
At the same time, conversations with successful female entrepreneurs revealed a surprising truth: many felt uncomfortable talking openly about money and success.
Some worried about being judged for their income or financial choices. Others struggled with earning more than their spouses or felt guilt around investing heavily in their children’s opportunities.
To explore these experiences further, LaRue hosted an all-expenses-paid professional photoshoot experience for a small group of high-achieving women. What began as a creative gathering quickly turned into a powerful environment for honest conversations about ambition, wealth, and identity.
Those conversations ultimately shaped the foundation of her new national platform.
From Top Producer to Industry Innovator
LaRue’s credibility in the financial world is deeply established. During her advisory career, she earned Top Producer recognition within her independent broker-dealer — an elite honor awarded to just 75 advisors out of roughly 4,000 nationwide.
She maintained that status for more than a decade.
Along the way, she expanded her research into the intersection of longevity, health, and financial preparedness. Her work included interviews with long-term care providers, families navigating aging transitions, and innovation initiatives exploring how technology and planning must evolve for longer lifespans.
