Turning Crisis Into Calling
For Kristen Pitts, 2020 was more than a year of disruption—it was the start of a mission. Amid global shutdowns and legal gridlock, she launched KP Law Group, a firm built on courage, compassion, and conviction.
“Starting a law firm during a pandemic wasn’t logical—it was faithful,” she reflects. “But I believed in the power of persistence and purpose.”
What began as three women sharing a workspace has evolved into a thirteen-member powerhouse representing clients across Georgia and beyond. Their promise—“Fierce and Fearless Representation”—isn’t just a slogan; it’s a standard.
Building Trust in a Virtual World
Navigating a virtual courtroom system tested Pitts’ adaptability and leadership. “Every day brought a new challenge—remote hearings, anxious clients, constant uncertainty,” she says.
Instead of waiting for stability, she built it. KP Law Group created innovative digital processes and communication systems to keep cases moving and clients informed. “We learned to lead with empathy,” Pitts adds. “That’s how we built trust when the world felt disconnected.”
Purpose Over Profit
While many new firms chase rapid revenue, Pitts took a different route. “We decided early on to put relationships before profits,” she explains. “Each client deserves our full attention.”
That client-first approach became the foundation for organic growth. Word-of-mouth referrals soon replaced traditional marketing, turning satisfied clients into passionate advocates. “Integrity fuels longevity,” Pitts says. “Our reputation grew because our clients believed in us.”
Balancing Ambition with Grace
Even as KP Law Group scales, Pitts remains grounded in gratitude and balance. “Boundaries and family keep me centered,” she shares. “Protecting my peace allows me to protect my purpose.”
Her team reflects that same culture of care—women supporting one another through both professional and personal milestones. “We’ve built more than a business,” she smiles. “We’ve built a community.”
Expanding Impact
Today, KP Law Group is focused on purposeful expansion across the Southeast. Beyond the courtroom, Pitts is channeling her passion into mentorship and philanthropy through Cool Girls and Kate’s Club, helping young women embrace leadership with integrity.
“The goal isn’t just growth,” she says. “It’s impact. We’re building a legacy rooted in service.”
